'For those who didn't make it'

This picture was taken at the Arizona-Mexico border. The crosses on the wall represent the family members and friends that did not make it to the United States.

The ultimate goal of this project was to learn about various undocumented people in the U.S. and how being undocumented affects them and their families. The three people interviewed have all immigrated to the U.S. from Mexico. Each person interviewed has a unique story, but are all intertwined and connected through my father's company: Royal Gardens Landscaping. I used input from my parents about how they perceive undocumented people as well as advocate for them. I will also address some of the misconceptions that many Americans have about undocumented Mexican immigrants.

Use the tabs at the top of the page to learn about each of the wonderful, unique individuals I had the pleasure of interviewing.
